Key Responsibilities
* Assist in operating key Wastewater Management Facilities and systems.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to emergency situations as required.
* Work closely with other teams to ensure effective delivery of water and wastewater services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Cert 3 Water Industry Operations – Wastewater Treatment or willingness to complete.
* Physically capable of undertaking tasks concerned with the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants.
* Able to carry out necessary basic math calculations and interpret results.
* Basic understanding of hydraulics and mechanical plant.
* Ability to become proficient in the application of laboratory procedures and practices.
* Experience working as part of a on call/duty roster.
* Strong OHS focus, commitment, and application.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational, self-management and problem-solving skills.
* Adaptable, hands on and enjoy working outdoors and in all elements.
