Our multidisciplinary team is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our community rehabilitation unit.
* The successful candidate will work with clients who have acquired neurological conditions, such as stroke and traumatic brain injury, as well as progressive neurological conditions like Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
* As part of our interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessment, planning, and delivery of occupational therapy services in collaboration with physiotherapy, psychology, dietetics, social work, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
* The Occupational Therapist will demonstrate knowledge of current contemporary occupational therapy practices, including assessment and intervention techniques.
* The successful candidate will exercise professional judgment and initiative, working with general supervision and seeking guidance as appropriate.
* The Occupational Therapist will prioritize and manage a busy workload while providing high-quality client care.
