**The Role**
Your typical day will involve:
- Meeting & greeting patients
- Booking & confirming appointments
- Smooth and efficient running of clinics
- Theatre bookings
- Managing phones & correspondence including maintenance of electronic records
- Administration and general office duties
- Reconciling EFTPOS and Genie transactions daily
- Payment and debtors
- Medical typing
**Essential Criteria**
To be successful you will need to demonstrate:
- Professional aptitude and self-presentation
- Exceptional communication skills and telephone manner
- Experience using Genie software
- Excellent customer service
- High attention to detail
- Prioritisation skills and the ability to multitask
- The ability to work effectively autonomously
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude, conduct and presentation
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- The ability to engage professionally with patients and other stakeholders
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
**Desirable Criteria**:
- Minimum one year experience as a Specialist Medical Administrator
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office products
- Completion of an accredited medical certificate would be highly regarded
