We are a Childcare Centre! Our Early Learning Centre is seeking a Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor to lead the team and friendly community.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, strong team leadership, with experience inspiring and developing a young centre and a team of professional educators.
Duties include:
* Marketing
* Managing the day to day operations of a long day care service, in line with centre policies and procedures
* Provide leadership and guidance to all educators
* Managing all operational requirements of a service, including occupancy, wage management, rostering and budgeting costs.
* Ensure the safety & wellbeing of all stakeholders (children, educators and families, community and Approved Provider)
* Commitment to ongoing learning and self-development.
* Recruit, induct, support and mentor new educators.
To be successful in this role you must have:
* A Diploma in Children Services or a degree in early childhood
* A current Working with Children Check, child protection & first aid.
* The ability to be organised and ability to multi-task.
* Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process.
* Strong understanding of the child safe standards.
* Strong communication, leadership and management skills.
* Passionate in achieving the best quality of education and care with educators and the community for children and families.
* Knowledge of CCS, ACCS, xplor & Educa (preferred not essential)
* Excellent written, computer and communication skills.
* Bright, friendly and energetic.
