About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance & Grounds Support Worker to maintain Sundale's grounds, facilities and equipment. You'll perform routine landscaping, minor repairs and safety checks, ensuring our spaces are well‑presented and compliant.
What You'll Do:
* Mow, trim, prune and maintain lawns, gardens and outdoor areas
* Plant and care for seasonal flowers, shrubs and trees
* Inspect and maintain irrigation systems
* Perform minor property repairs (basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical)
* Keep walkways, entrances and recreational spaces clean and hazard‑free
* Coordinate with contractors for complex repairs
* Support event setup and ensure grounds are welcoming and accessible
* Complete required documentation and contribute to continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
* Practical experience in grounds maintenance and general property upkeep
* Ability to operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment
* Strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude and commitment to high standards of safety and presentation
Essential Requirements
* Queensland Driver's Licence
* Police Check
* Pre‑employment medical assessment
* Relevant trade or certificate training (desirable)
