This is a rare opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to take the reins of an exciting new brewery and venue in regional Australia. We're looking for a dynamic Venue Manager to drive operations, build a strong team, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
About the Role
This role requires a hands-on, strategic leader with operational expertise, financial acumen, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You'll oversee daily operations across the brewery's hospitality, retail, and events spaces, working closely with the Head Brewer and senior leadership to deliver exceptional service and memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations across hospitality, events, and retail
* Lead staff recruitment, training, and coaching to build a high-performing team
* Develop and refine menus, retail ranges, and service standards
* Ensure compliance with licensing, RSA, and health & safety regulations
* Analyse sales and venue performance to optimise profitability and efficiency
* Collaborate with brewing and production teams on planning and forecasting
* Build strong supplier relationships, supporting local businesses
* Create community initiatives that spark loyalty and growth
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Venue Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role
* Strong knowledge of compliance, licensing, and hospitality operations
* Commercial acumen with experience in budgets, rosters, and performance management
* A proactive, community-minded leader who inspires their team
