The Team
The Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) is a dynamic multidisciplinary team working across Northern Tasmania.
Under the My Aged Care, Single Assessment System the team is responsible for assessing the needs of eligible community members for services and support to maintain their independence and wellbeing using a wellness and reablement approach.
The Role
The administration assistant supports a multidisciplinary team to schedule and complete aged care assessments on behalf of My Aged Care.
The successful applicant will be responsible for speaking with clients, their supporters and health professionals to provide general aged care information, as well as scheduling appointments and ensuring the smooth operation of the team.
The administrative team are responsible for accurate and timely data entry and management of confidential client information.
You will need
Excellent communication skills, you will be able to liaise with clients, their supporters and other professionals with general aged care enquiries.
Commitment to efficiency with well developed organisational skills
High level computer literacy and experience navigating online systems

Details of appointment
Permanent part time, day worker position, working 67 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement ****.

Clerical and administrative experience in a health/welfare area
