About the Role
Buslines Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Griffith, NSW. In this full-time role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our bus fleet, ensuring vehicles are kept in top condition and operating safely and reliably. What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting regular maintenance and servicing of diesel-powered buses
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Performing scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance
- Collaborating with management and workshop staff to ensure fleet readiness
- Maintaining accurate records of services and repairs
- Promoting a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment
What We’re Looking For
- Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent) + a MVTC Licence
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
- Current driver's licence (MR licence desirable)
