TEN Recruit are currently working alongside a well-established construction company to resource for an experienced Project Manager. Our client is a mid-tier builder looking for someone with experience across apartments, aged care, education and local government projects. Your responsibilities may include:
* Manage and deliver on each construction phase to the agreed standards, on time and within the allocated budget.
* Report any issues to the Project Coordinator in a timely manner.
* Manage the production of suitable design and specification documents to support planning approval, cost planning, contract preparation and award and construction processes.
* Oversee all contract documents to ensure appropriate outcomes and to meet the requirements of product specifications (and related materials).
* Manage the coordination of contracted work to enable the best use of the clients’ resources and contracted resources.
* Project planning using relevant software such as CHEOPS and MS Project.
* Work within the project management framework, implement and use the range of project tools available to manage infrastructure contracts, technical specifications and provide specific technical/construction advice, feedback and guidance to the client and teams.
* Develop strong professional working relationships with all team members, peers, delivery partners and clients.
Essential criteria:
* 5+ years experience in a Project Manager position.
* Tertiary Degree in Construction Management or Economics (or equivalent).
* Proven experience with ideally delivering large scale Design & Construct projects.
* Demonstrated ability to build, sustain and effective multidisciplinary teams, maximising performance at an individual and team level.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* CHEOPS experience.
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers License.
* Exceptional conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
This position comes with a $200k - $250k remuneration package depending on relevant knowledge, skill and experience.
