About Us:
Harper & Sole is the exciting new evening dining experience from the team behind The Boot Factory. Located within the historic walls of Coburg's iconic café space, we're transforming the venue after dark into a warm, atmospheric destination for modern Australian cuisine with global influences. Think: a refined yet relaxed dining experience, creative shared plates, international flavours, and a seasonal menu grounded in technique and flair.
The Role:
We're seeking a talented, creative and motivated Senior Chef to work closely with our Head Chef to help launch and shape the future of Harper & Sole's dinner service. You'll play a key role in the lead-up to opening night and beyond, contributing to menu development, kitchen setup, service execution, and ongoing innovation.
This role is ideal for a chef who is ready to step up, express their creativity, and help bring something new to life.
What You'll Be Doing:
Collaborating with our Head Chef on a brand-new evening menu
Assisting with kitchen prep, service and operations during dinner hours
Bringing creativity and fresh ideas to menu development and presentation
Upholding high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene
Contributing to a positive and respectful kitchen culture
About You:
Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment of 100Pax (ideally at a senior CDP or Sous Chef level)
Strong foundation in modern Australian or international cuisine
A genuine passion for seasonal, produce-driven food
Team-focused with excellent communication and leadership skills
Calm under pressure, with attention to detail and pride in your work
Available evenings and weekends as we build our dinner service
