About the Security Engineering Team
We are a highly skilled, proactive team that ensures the security of our products as we scale-up all around the world. We work closely with our Product, Engineering, and IT teams and help to identify, protect, and respond to cybersecurity threats.
Staff Security Engineer Role
This role is a hands-on and highly influential position that requires experience in designing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects and processes that are related to the security of networks, systems, and applications.
Your Responsibilities:
You will work closely with our Product, Engineering, and IT teams to identify, protect, and respond to cybersecurity threats, as well as being a trusted partner to them.
This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for experienced professionals who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum Qualifications:
* You have 8+ years of experience in security engineering and incident response.
* Experience with common security monitoring tools, including Splunk, and recent hands-on experience in scripting and Python.
* Recognized training or cybersecurity certifications (such as OSCP, GIAC, CEH, etc.).
* Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Good knowledge of software development and CI/CD tooling.
