Our School of Nursing and Midwifery is highly regarded by the nursing profession.About the roleThe School of Nursing and Midwifery located on the Darlinghurst Sydney Campus seeks expressions of interest from registered nurses to support the clinical education of Undergraduate student nurses on professional practice placement within the Bachelor of Nursing program (SYD campus).The Clinical Facilitator will be responsible for undergraduate 1st, 2nd and 3rd year nursing students completing the professional practice units of study in a variety of healthcare settings, in various wards and specialties.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcoming and orientating the students to the specified facility.Acting as a professional role model.Opportunistic student learning and clinical teaching, linking theory to practice whilst in the clinical setting.Identifying learning needs and promoting skill development.Formal written evaluations and assessments of clinical skills as provided by the University.Providing feedback to students and the University through open communication.Available on a fulltime rotational roster throughout each professional practice cycle.
