What You'll Do
* Perform aluminothermic welding and associated hot works.
* Carry out track welding repairs, adjustments, and inspections.
* Ensure welds meet specifications and safety requirements.
* Work closely with supervisors and crews to deliver projects on time.
* Maintain compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality procedures.
What You'll Bring
* Prior experience as a rail track worker on welding or maintenance projects.
* Minimum 1-2 years of rail track welding experience required.
* White Card.
* Unrestricted Driver's licence and reliable transport.
* Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and a can-do attitude.
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full work rights.
Beneficial
* MR Truck Licence (or willingness to obtain).
* Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure.
* Thermit Welding Certificate or equivalent.

Important Information
This role involves statewide rail project work across Tasmania, including the ability to stay away from home for periods of time as required. Selected candidates must be willing to undergo a pre-employment and Rail-specific CAT 1 or CAT 3 medical, including drug & alcohol screening prior to commencement.
