The Role
Join the **** almond harvest as a Loader Operator, working across almond storage, transport and general site support.
This hands-on, physical role is ideal for operators who enjoy outdoor work in hot, dusty conditions.
You'll be part of a fast-paced, supportive team with tasks that shift based on daily site needs.
Training is provided, and safety is always the priority.
Key Responsibilities
This role supports safe, efficient movement of almond product across the site and contributes to smooth daily harvest operations.
Operate loaders, tractors, telehandlers and mules to transport almond product
Safely load and unload product while maintaining accurate placement
Perform basic machinery checks and support simple maintenance
Operate almond drying machines when required
Assist with tarp folding, repairing, sealing and bunker tarping
Monitor almond drying and moisture levels
Maintain general site cleanliness and assist with labouring tasks
Operate the weighbridge, complete dockets and take samples
Work collaboratively to uphold a safe, efficient harvest environment
$*****-$***** per hour, based on level and position
6-month seasonal role with consistent hours

Your Skills & Experience
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in hot, dusty conditions
Confident operating loaders and similar machinery
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
Experience in almonds, grain, rice, pulses or similar crops is advantageous
Must follow all safety procedures
Own car recommended
