Associate/Senior Associate: Employment & Safety
Responsibilities
* Deliver sharp, commercial advice across employment, IR and WHS.
* Run with a mix of advisory and disputes work, including workplace investigations.
* Support real-time safety risk management and incident response.
* Assist on regulatory matters, including WHS and Electrical Safety prosecutions.
* Draft and refine contracts, policies, procedures and compliance documents.
* Help manage Fair Work Commission and other tribunal matters.
* Turn legislation and case law into clear, practical recommendations.
* Build strong client and stakeholder relationships, with exposure to business development.
Qualifications
* Admitted to practice in Australia.
* 2+ years PQE in employment law and/or related litigation.
* WHS/workplace safety exposure is a plus (not a must).
* Strong drafting and advocacy skills, and confidence in a disputes environment.
* Sharp researcher with good systems discipline (document management systems experience ideal).
