We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Rock Reinforcement Specialist to join our underground mining team.
This role plays a vital part in reinforcing rock structures and ensuring the smooth operation of our development mining activities.
* Operate advanced spraying equipment in underground environments with precision and care, applying rock reinforcement materials efficiently to support and strengthen structures.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to keep operations running smoothly, identifying potential risks and implementing solutions to minimize downtime.
Uphold strict health, safety, and security standards—identifying hazards and promoting a safe work culture that values employee well-being.
Prior experience in rock spraying or similar roles is required. All relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses must be held. Extensive experience in Underground Mining is essential, along with the ability to meet all pre-employment requirements, including medical and police checks. Residency in Ballarat or surrounds, or willingness to relocate, is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
