Clinical Nurse Educator

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and education, with the ability to provide high-quality education and training opportunities for nursing and other direct care workforces.

* Key Responsibilities:
">
* Develop and implement education programs that meet the needs of nursing staff and other direct care workers.
">
* Provide clinical supervision and support to Entry to Practice nurses and other learning and development initiatives.
">
* Act as a role model for lifelong learning and demonstrate high-quality and evidence-based approaches to education and training.
">
">

About You:

">
">
* You will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent formal professionally recognised qualifications in Psychiatric Nursing.
">
* You must be currently registered with APHRA as a Division 1 nurse.
">
* You should have a Postgraduate Diploma or Masters in mental health nursing, AOD, education or similar.
">
* You should hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (minimum education and training qualification) or be working towards successful completion.
">
* You must have demonstrated experience and/or interest in education, teaching and learning processes.
">
* You should have at least 5 years full-time experience working within mental health services.
">
* You should have experience working as a trained clinical (professional) supervisor in a mental health setting.
">

About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for providing contemporary education and training opportunities for nursing and other direct care workforces across our service. This is a permanent part-time opportunity with 64 hours per fortnight.
