We have a superb opportunity to join a highly regarded specialist advisory firm, working on complex, high-value matters where your analysis directly impacts real commercial outcomes.
This would suit either an experienced Forensic Accountant or someone from Audit or Insolvency within a consulting environment looking to move into forensic accounting. Full training and support provided.
You'll work across a wide range of industries, advising on financial losses arising from business interruption (including wild weather events, fires and floods), cyber incidents, product recalls, stock loss, tax audits and other insured events.
You'll be getting under the hood of businesses, understanding how they operate, analysing financial records, and quantifying economic loss in situations where it genuinely matters.
The Role
Working alongside experienced forensic specialists, you will:
* Investigate and analyse financial records to quantify economic losses
* Work across a broad range of claims including business interruption, cyber, stock loss, product recall and tax audit
* Assess financial loss and negotiate outcomes with insureds, brokers and claims preparers
* Prepare clear, well-structured reports and assist with expert witness reports
* Liaise with clients, brokers and legal stakeholders throughout the claims process
* Support client relationships and contribute to business development
* Work collaboratively within a specialist, high-performing team
About You
* CA or CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Commerce or similar
* 4+ years' experience in forensic accounting, audit, insolvency or a related field
* Enjoy building relationships and engaging with clients, lawyers and loss adjusters
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present findings and, where required, appear in court
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
* Advanced Excel skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Naturally inquisitive with a genuine interest in how businesses operate
