We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a global engineering and industrial solutions organisation with a strong presence across the ANZ market. Our client develops high‐performance industrial power and energy solutions, including data‐centre‐grade diesel generator systems, and partners closely with customers requiring mission‐critical reliability. This role is ideal for a commercially driven sales professional with deep expertise in B2B technical solutions, account and dealer management, and business development.
About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving market expansion, revenue growth, and customer success across the ANZ region. You will identify new business opportunities, nurture key customer relationships, oversee dealer networks, and lead the full sales cycle for industrial and energy‐related equipment and solutions. This position will be based in Sydney.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategies to grow market share across key customer segments
* Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
* Manage and strengthen relationships with customers, dealers, partners, and consultants
* Conduct market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and growth sectorsPrepare and present accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights
* Lead commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders in collaboration with engineering and technical teams
* Maintain and update CRM systems and sales pipeline information
* Work collaboratively with engineering, production, QA, finance, and other internal teams
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
* Minimum 7–10 years' experience in B2B technical sales, dealer/account management, or business development
* Experience in data centre, genset, power generation, or industrial solutions sectors is highly preferred
* Strong ability to build and maintain long‐term, high‐value customer relationships
* Skilled in negotiation, solution‐based selling, and proposal development
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, and data‐driven reporting
* Experience with generator sets or related industrial equipment is an advantage

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational ability and comfort managing multiple priorities
* Willingness to travel across the ANZ region as required
