Key Responsibilities:
* Direct food production, supervising a team of skilled professionals to meet tight deadlines.
* Monitor and maintain a clean, organized workspace, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
* Manage inventory and ordering of essential ingredients and equipment.
* Develop and implement new menu ideas, collaborating with colleagues to create innovative dishes.
* Lead by example, demonstrating expertise and sharing knowledge with junior staff members.
* Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Requirements for Success:
* Proven track record in a similar role, with at least 2 years' experience in high-volume food production environments.
* Trade-qualified Chef with advanced knowledge of HACCP, QSAI, Food Safety, and OHS.
* Prior experience working in airline catering and service-oriented teams is highly regarded.
* Strong leadership skills and experience working in team environments are essential.
* HALAL working experience and knowledge of segregation and separation of equipment are required.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications is a plus.
* A clear National Police Check and ability to work 38 hours per week are mandatory.
