Collaborating with landholders every year, we ensure both good crop rotations and the best growing conditions across the north of Australia. This enables us to provide high-quality produce while supporting local farmers.
We are seeking a Business Development & Distribution Lead who will be at the centre of our sales, distribution, and production operations. This key role involves ensuring exceptional supply chain performance while driving profitable growth through strengthening relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, negotiating agreements, and coordinating logistics.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Strengthen and grow relationships with supermarkets, key clients, and industry partners.
* Identify and secure new domestic and export sales opportunities.
* Negotiate agreements that deliver sustainable and profitable results.
* Coordinate domestic and export logistics for cost-effective, on-time delivery.
* Lead and work closely with production teams to align harvest, packing, and supply with market demand.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to shape growth strategies.
* Represent the business at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums.
* Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.
Requirements: We require a minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and supply chain management (food or agriculture preferred), strong commercial acumen with proven success in winning and growing business, advanced negotiation skills, solid understanding of logistics, warehousing, and export operations, proficiency in customer relationship management and supply chain systems, exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, leadership skills to inspire and guide a small, high-performing team, and relevant degree, experience in export markets, and knowledge of cross-border trade regulations.
