Regional Legal Counsel: In‐House • Sydney, NSW, AU
About the role:
* Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret a variety of contracts, including SaaS agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company policies and scalability.
* Advise and collaborate with sales, partners, procurement, and other departments to manage agreements and business activities effectively.
* Work with the People team to address local employment law matters and employee relations.
* Offer comprehensive legal support for global and local business needs.
The ideal candidate:
* 7+ years of experience as an in-house lawyer or in a leading law firm, with a strong focus on Commercial IT transactions and contracts.
* Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage various agreements, including professional services, business, and IPT contracts.
* Strong strategic thinking, legal judgment, and ability to handle multiple projects under deadlines, with exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
