Data Management Position
This is an opportunity to contribute to the maintenance of departmental databases for patients attending the department, as well as assisting in related research projects.
As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining databases, developing data collection systems, and analysing and interpreting data collected. You will work closely with the team to ensure the accuracy and quality of data.
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Health, Science, Health Information Management or a related paramedical discipline. Previous experience in data management or clinical trials is desirable. You must be skilled in hospital-based or similar computer systems and have sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access databases. Good analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organisational and workload management skills, and proven attention to detail are essential.
The role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain databases and data collection systems. This is a full-time position, with 76 hours per fortnight. The successful applicant will be involved in the maintenance of departmental databases for all patients attending the department as well as assisting in related research projects.
