About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a long-term career path, exposure to innovative projects, and the opportunity to work in a supportive and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards; draft and interpret specifications, drawings, and procedures.
· Organise and direct site labour, material delivery, and equipment coordination; prepare detailed programs for site activities.
· Conduct soil and rock sampling/testing to determine strength, compressibility, and secure loading capacities.
· Analyse structural systems for static and dynamic loads; design structures for stability and compliance.
· Estimate total costs based on engineering/architectural drawings and prepare cost plans for budget control.
· Assess design changes, evaluate cost impacts, and negotiate variations.
· Design, quote, and detail floor trusses, wall frames, posi struts, and roof trusses per customer requirements.
· Liaise with sales teams, trade customers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate project delivery.
· Provide shop drawings and detailing for structural steel and site installation requirements.
· Ensure compliance with BCA, R-Codes, and other relevant regulations.
· Use detailing and design software to prepare models and construction documentation.
· Visit sites for accurate measures, coordination, and quality control.
· Perform additional duties as required by the manager.
Skills & Experience
· Minimum 5+ years' experience in civil engineering or a related construction/project role.
· Proficiency in DataBuild, project management software, and AutoCAD.
· Strong knowledge of BCA & R-Codes, OHS, and building regulations.
· Demonstrated ability to deliver detailed construction and tender documentation.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $79,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
