We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Delivery Optimisation Manager to join our team

What You Will Do:

This role focuses on reducing operational risk, enhancing customer outcomes, and optimising logistics and service delivery. You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the service management system across all asset classes, support disaster management planning and operations, and contribute to whole of council improvement projects through professional and technical expertise. You will also be representing the directorate in strategic and operational planning, provide input to public engagements with peak bodies, other levels of government and private enterprise.

What We Are Looking For:

* Senior management experience within a service delivery organisation or local government related to infrastructure asset services or the ability to rapidly augment related experience to this field
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic focus
* Proven leadership skills resulting in empowered and outcomes-oriented work teams
* Exceptional verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Postgraduate qualification in Management, Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, Public Administration, or a Graduate Certificate/Diploma in leadership, change management, or service delivery optimisation. Qualifications and/or experience in disaster management, and a Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (e.g. Civil Environmental, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) would be highly regarded.
