Lead School Psychologist Role Overview
This is a senior leadership position for a highly skilled and experienced school psychologist who will provide professional guidance and support to a dynamic team of school psychologists across the Kimberley region.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert leadership and mentorship to the team of school psychologists, fostering a culture of excellence and best practice.
* Develop and implement professional development programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the team, aligning with industry standards and frameworks.
* Ensure high-quality supervision for provisionally registered psychologists, ensuring they meet the required competency framework.
* Collaborate with education leaders, directors, and principals to provide strategic advice on complex issues and incidents, leveraging expertise to drive positive outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* General registration with the Psychology Board of Australia or eligibility to register.
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or valid visa with relevant work rights.
* Valid Working With Children Check prior to appointment.
* Advanced Skills School Psychologist status for permanent appointment to this role.
