Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and present quarterly financial statements and myob monthly reports to stakeholders.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning and decision-making.
* Forecast cash flows and manage financial planning models
* Monitor budget performance throughout the year, highlighting risks and advising on corrective actions.
* Assist with year-end accounts, audits, and statutory reporting.
* Work collaboratively with academic, administrative, and operations teams.
What We're Looking For
* Qualifications:
* A Masters degree in Accounting or a related field.
* 2 Year Experience in a similar role within an educational institution is highly desirable.
* Understanding of RTO/CRICOS compliance requirements.
* Skills:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Myob ,XERO)
* Familiarity with student management systems (SMS)
* Attributes:
* A proactive and positive attitude.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
