Join AECOM to work as a Senior ICT & Security Consultant, contributing to a variety of projects across defence, health, education, sports infrastructure, aviation and justice. The role can be based in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney and supports our Hybrid work model.

Job Summary
Due to recent project wins, we are looking for a Senior ICT & Security Engineer to design and deliver ICT and Security solutions for complex environments, working collaboratively with a national team across the full project lifecycle.
How you’ll make a difference
* Deliver technical design and documentation of ICT and Security systems ranging from structured cabling, active networks, WLAN, IPTV, audio‑visual systems, video conferencing, CCTV, electronic access control, intruder alarm, intercom, perimeter intrusion detection and Type 1A security alarm systems.
* Collaborate with a national team throughout the project lifecycle, including project costing, client engagement, contractor management and bids/tenders.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers using your multidisciplinary project experience and communication skills.
* Consult with clients on site investigations and provide cost‑effective, technically sound solutions.
Qualifications
* Engineering qualification in Electrical, ICT, Telecommunication or related field, with Professional Engineering Registration and State Security Licence or eligibility to obtain them.
* Excellent technical and project delivery skills, proven ability to coordinate with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience leading and delivering ICT and Security design and consultancy services within a building environment.
* Ideally 5+ years’ experience at a consultancy (or client‑side) with strong knowledge of Australian Codes and Standards.
* Passion for consulting, working with technical engineers and non‑technical project stakeholders.
Australian Citizenship required in addition to current or ability to obtain Defence clearance.
