A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its high performing Corporate Transactions team in Melbourne.
This practice is recognised for advising on complex, high value public and private M&A, equity capital markets transactions, IPOs, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance matters. The team regularly acts on market shaping transactions for major corporates, investors and financial institutions across a broad range of sectors.
The Opportunity
You will work on sophisticated domestic and cross border transactions alongside highly regarded partners in a collaborative and well resourced team. The practice is known for its depth of experience, technical excellence and genuine investment in the long term development of its lawyers.
This role offers exposure to headline matters, meaningful client contact and the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers while continuing to develop as a trusted adviser.
About You
We are interested in lawyers who have:
5 years or more post qualification experience in M&A
Strong drafting and technical corporate skills
A commercial and strategic mindset
Experience gained at a leading national or international firm
A collaborative approach and an interest in mentoring junior team members
A desire to build long term client relationships
