Role and responsibilities
The client is a leading building contractor with a busy and fast growing workload. Due to organic growth they are strengthening their team with the appointment of an Assistant Preconstruction Manager. Previous experience on Industrial sector projects is ideal but not essential.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the Building Sector.
- Previous employment as one of: Design Co-ordinator, D&B; Coordinator/Manager, Design Manager, Bid Manager, Preconstruction Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Architect, Architectural Technician, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, Design Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Site Engineer or similar.
- Previous experience on building sector projects; may also consider candidates from other general build construction projects.
- Previous Main Contractor employment ideal but not essential; open to candidates with experience at sub-contractors (e.g., earthworks) or design consultancies.
- High level of communication skills.
- Relevant industry qualification (Degree / HND / HNC, etc.).
Location
Role will be predominantly office-based with 1–2 days remote working.
