Reporting to the Head of Preparatory School this is a unique prospect to foster creativity, confidence and collaboration through high quality classroom teaching, co-curricular ensembles, choirs and performance opportunities.
This role has an administrator to assist the Music Department and works closely with the Director of Music – Senior School.The successful candidate will demonstrate:Extensive experience in primary music education, capable of leading educators and tutorsExcellence in choral and instrumental direction, and bring energy and continued success to whole school events, concerts and productionsExperience in mentoring staff, coordinating musical tutors and contributing to the cultural life of the SchoolOutstanding communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skillsA capacity to build strong, inclusive relationships with students, families, staff, and external stakeholdersProven ability to strategically manage human, financial, and physical resources to deliver high-impact outcomesA commitment to fostering a positive school culture through meaningful connections between students, educators, and the broader communityAligned with our School values of Teamwork, Scholarship and Service, we are seeking a creative, organised and engaging leader who brings vision, patience and clarity to their management style.

Candidates must be eligible for, or hold current Queensland Teacher Registration and submit to an Anglican Diocese National Register check.
