The Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrician with solar experience (desirable but not essential) to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of general electrical maintenance, solar PV, and battery energy storage services. This role is perfect for a proactive problem‐solver who enjoys a mix of installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations and maintenance. At Williams, we will put you through the required courses/training to obtain your Solar install accreditation.

Key Responsibilities
* Operational Excellence: Interpret drawings and specifications to execute installations, testing and commissioning to AS/NZS 3000 standards.
* Maintenance & Service: Plan and execute service calls, fault‐finding and minor works while participating in client handovers.
* Safety Leadership: Promote a "safety first" culture by reporting hazards, participating in risk assessments (JHAs/SWMS) and modelling safe work practices.
* Documentation: Complete certificates of compliance, test records, timesheets and job cards accurately.
* Mentorship: Provide day‐to‐day guidance to apprentices and trade assistants.
What you'll bring
* Experience: At least 2 years post‐apprenticeship experience, specifically with commercial or utility‐scale solar systems and battery commissioning.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings and reading technical drawings.
* Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, solid judgement and the ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
Mandatory Requirements
* WA Electrical Workers Licence.
* SAA Solar PV installer accreditation – desirable (not essential) – we will put you through the courses/training if required.
* Current WA Driver's Licence.
* White Card (General Construction Induction).
* Right to work in Australia.
