What you'll be responsible for: • Leading the development of enterprise architecture and IT strategy to support the VEC's long-term goals• Aligning systems and application development with strategic direction, ensuring scalability, security and integration• Providing expert leadership and guidance across the Information and Digital Services Branch• Developing technology roadmaps and standards to guide IT initiatives and reduce duplication• Conducting high-level research to identify future IT trends and assess applicability• Collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Director of Applications, to deliver robust and resilient solutions for major electoral events• Building internal capability through mentoring, policy development and promoting architectural best practice What you will bring to the role: * Proven experience in enterprise architecture and large-scale systems delivery * Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills * Deep knowledge of systems design, software development and governance models * Ability to translate complex needs into scalable, future-ready IT solutions * Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills * Leadership experience in high-performing teams and dynamic environments * Commitment to the VEC's core values How to apply All applicants must submit: * a current CV and * a separate document with responses to Key Selection Criteria (KSC) 6.1, 6.4, 6.5, 6.9 and 6.10 as listed in the position description. * Applications should be lodged online via the Apply Now button (below).
