Role Overview
Job Summary
The Branch Human Resources Generalist will support the Human Resources Department in creating, implementing and monitoring policies, procedures and programs that enhance the collective functioning of the branch.
* Assist with the recruitment and selection of administrative and/or supervisory employees.
* Arrange and complete staff interviews for administrative roles.
* Conduct orientation sessions for new hires, explaining HR policies, workplace practices and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection: Assist with the identification and selection of suitable candidates for administrative and/or supervisory positions.
Interviews and Orientations: Arrange and conduct interviews with administrative staff applicants. Provide comprehensive orientations to new hires, highlighting HR policies, workplace expectations and employee benefits.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in human resources generalist role or similar position.
