As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Technical Sales Manager who can combine technical knowledge with commercial insight to help us win new projects and build strong client partnerships.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Engineer with a desire to move into a sales position / already in a sales position with a technical background in electrical automation systems. This role suits someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver tailored automation solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in electrical automation
* Build and maintain strong client relationships with exceptional service
* Prepare proposals, quotations and tender responses
* Work closely with engineering teams to scope labour, materials and project requirements
* Provide technical advice across automation platforms including Siemens, Allen-Bradley and Schneider
What We're Looking For
* Experience in electrical automation design, installation or software integration
* Strong understanding of tender creation and review
* Accurate estimation skills for labour and materials
* Excellent communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
* Knowledge of major automation platforms
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum five years in a technical sales role within automation or industrial control
* Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements
