Transplant Administrator

An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-motivated individual to join the Transplant Directorate to provide high quality administrative support.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent organisational skills and communication skills and who can work well under pressure.
You must be able to work well within a team and be able to manage and organise your own workload, prioritising and delegating work as necessary.
Main duties of the job
To provide complete administration support to the Transplant service.
To be confident in communicating both face to face and also via the telephone to ensure an efficient service is provided to all departments and external sources.
This job description is intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the post, and the Transplant Administrator will be required to undertake such duties appropriate to the position as may be required by the Consultants, Transplant Coordinators and/or Line Manager to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Qualifications
Educated to A Level or Level 3 Business Admin / IT qualification or equivalent experience including English G.C.S.E. pass at G 4 or above, Maths G.S.C.E pass at Grade 4 or above
Touch Typing Certificate or equivalent experience
Medical Terminology Certificate or equivalent
Experience
Experience of administrative work and working in a busy office environment
Prioritising, planning and organising own tasks
Working within guidelines and developing administrative processes
Customer Service and dealing with enquiries in difficult situations
Data entry and producing reports
Experience of IT packages – Microsoft Office
