**Our Journey**:
**Support Services** is responsible for the provision of non-clinical services that includes food services, patient support, porters, cleaning, linen, pest control, central production kitchen, waste management, car parking, hygiene services and some retail services.
**AM Shifts**
**Monday - Friday AM Shift from 6.30am**

**A Day in the Life**:
The **Store Person **will be working in the Central Production Kitchen based at Kingston, working closely with department heads, food services employees, supervisors and the Food Services Manager.
As part of the food services team, the **Store Person** role is responsible for the co-ordination and management of stock inventory, including ordering stock, ensuring stock expiration is minimised and the organisation of stored supplies along with the completion of accurate information to ensure budgetary outcomes are correct and in line with set guidelines,.
Responsibilities include; (but not limited to)
- Accurate and timely receipt and delivery of all prepared foods, groceries and other items
- Assisting with the efficient day to day management of the kitchen store, ancillary store rooms and refrigerated storage areas within food services.
- Assisting with the maintenance of set minimum stock levels for all food items
- Accurate and timely re-ordering in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Keeping food storage areas clean and tidy in accordance with the food safety plan.
- Providing a high quality, customer focused service to internal and external customers.
- Maintain and adherence to a centralised procurement system, invoice and stock holding processes for Food Services
- Checking and recording temperature of received deliveries and take corrective action if required.
- Preparation of reports to the Food Services Manager on operational activities, including stock take of food items

**What You Need**:
- Food Handling Certificate (SITXFSA001) - Use hygienic practices for food safety _(Essential) _
- Previous experience co-ordinating and managing stock _(Desirable)_
- A competent level of verbal & written communication skills
- Basic to intermediate computer/digital skills
- Ability to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
