il MATTO is a busy Italian restaurant with a casual dynamic kitchen in beautiful Torquay on Victoria's Surf Cost. We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie with extensive industry knowledge and experience, with organisation skills that allow you to deliver consistent and quality food in a fast paced and high volume environment. $76,515 p.a. + Superannuation Skills & experience
-Must have experience in Italian cuisine -Minimum 2 years experience -Ability to work well under pressure while still delivering consistent high quality food
-Ability to work as a team player or independently to achieve results -Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities -Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
-Strong Food Safety experience -Flexible availability-weekends, public holidays, and nights Tasks & responsibilities
-Ensure quality control -Maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment -Food service and preparation
-Assist and collaborate with the Executive Chef -Opportunities to contribute creatively This role is very much hands-on, requiring attention to detail and a positive work attitude.
