About the Job
As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you will be part of a dynamic team that ensures every customer experience is exceptional. You will work closely with colleagues to provide top-notch service, ensuring each interaction is memorable and positive.
* You will be responsible for handling customer sales and service transactions accurately and efficiently.
* You will manage high-value transactions, including cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS, with precision and care.
* You will conduct identity services, such as Australian Passport Interviews, with professionalism and sensitivity.
* You will promote products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and promotional activities, driving business growth.
* You will assist with mail lodgements and associated costs, providing excellent support to customers.
* You will build rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs and preferences.
* You will assist with administrative duties, such as stocktaking and record maintenance, ensuring seamless operations.
About You
We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable individual who enjoys working in a team environment. You should be committed to putting the customer first and making a positive community impact.
* You should have experience in customer service and/or cash handling.
* You should be able to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand during shifts.
