Rural Products Sales Manager Job Description:
The Rural Products Sales Manager is a key leadership position within the organization, responsible for overseeing the sales and inventory performance of rural products. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage sales teams, drive growth, exceed targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Manage sales and inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns, and debtor arrangements
* Oversee branch staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management
* Nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities, and provide value-added training with suppliers
* Provide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines
* Assist with the development and implementation of retail strategy, including driving key sales campaigns and activities

To succeed in this role, you will have experience leading dynamic sales teams and a background in agronomy or the rural industry. You will also possess strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and prepare profit-and-loss reports.
