Responsibilities
* Manage and mentor staff, fostering high performance, maintaining team momentum and identifying and removing blockers that inhibit progress.
* Oversee the development and delivery of technology solutions. Ensure they are user friendly, meet business objectives and align with approved enterprise architecture, design principles, and application roadmaps.
* Assist in the planning, development, and execution of ICT projects, ensuring they are aligned with budgetary constraints and strategic goals of the ACCC.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders and service providers, managing expectations, and aligning processes.
* Oversee work with other ACCC business areas to clarify requirements and deliver agreed outcomes on time and on budget.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience leading a team or similar role in a fast‐paced, large complex people‐centred organisation.
* Demonstrated experience in managing large, diverse, multidisciplinary development teams and driving the technical direction across a portfolio of applications/support services, supporting a range of projects from initiation, in‐flight and transition to operations, and end state operations.
* Strong technical expertise in software development, cloud‐based platforms, databases, and web technologies with an understanding of how to drive modern software development practices.
* Demonstrated ability to drive a software development strategy and roadmap with proven success at delivering complex software development initiatives to meet strategic objectives.
* Experience in establishing practices within teams to follow Agile and DevOps methodologies using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira or similar.
* Ability to think strategically, innovate and drive change to improve software development processes to deliver high‐quality solutions.
