We are seeking a skilled professional to support drilling programs across regional exploration projects. Based in Sydney, you will play a key role in coordinating the day-to-day execution of drilling activities — including contractor management, scheduling, equipment mobilisation, and field logistics.
This is a hands-on and motivated position that involves regular travel to remote exploration sites across Australia, working closely with drilling supervisors, geologists, and HSE teams to ensure safe, efficient, and goal-aligned operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate daily drilling activities, ensuring efficient execution of exploration programs in line with operational targets and safety standards.
* Manage contractor relationships, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Oversee logistics and field mobilisation, including transport, equipment, supplies, and site access to remote drilling locations.
* Support operational planning and scheduling, working with cross-functional teams to align field activities with project timelines.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor drilling progress, resolve on-ground issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Track and report key performance metrics, including drilling progress, budget utilisation, and equipment usage.
* Collaborate with HSE and field teams to ensure all activities adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
* Contribute to operational process improvements, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness across drilling operations.
About You:
* 5 years operations experience in field operations, preferably within drilling, mining, or exploration environments.
* Strong logistical and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts in fast-paced field settings.
* Willingness to travel regularly to remote exploration sites across Australia.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams.
* A proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong focus on safety, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
