About the role
This is a key and challenging role with the primary focus of providing a professional maintenance function ensuring safe and efficient operation of the plant and to continually improve plant reliability. The key responsibilities include planning and executing plant maintenance strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation.
As a Plant Technician, you will be working on a shift-based roster with 12-hour shifts.
What you will enjoy doing
* Lead and work safely in accordance with company policies and practices aiming at zero accidents.
* Ensure the safe system of work is implemented and followed during daily operations.
* Maintain safe and optimal plant operation and reliability during various production modes including startup, shutdown, and container filling.
* Adjust production rates to meet market demand.
* Support troubleshooting of plant and process issues using Maintenance Systems, including CMMS (SAP/Maximo), spares, and inventory management systems.
* Perform corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.
* Produce daily reports, close work jobs, assist with maintenance, and keep records as required.

Skills & experience we are looking for
* Relevant qualification or trade experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Instrumentation.
* Previous experience in plant commissioning and/or maintenance.
* Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Forklift license is an advantage.
* Experience with SAP, including safety management, process engineering, and projects, is an advantage.
