The Role - Draftsperson
We are seeking a skilled Survey Draftsperson to support our survey team in the preparation of survey plans and calculations. We enjoy delivering high-quality surveying services to our valued clients and contributing to the successful delivery of their land development and residential building projects.
This role suits a Draftsperson who is passionate about accuracy and detail, and who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment where your skills are appreciated and career development is encouraged.
You will perform a broad range of CAD drafting and design including:
* Management of design data between survey and our other disciplines including urban design, engineering and landscape design.
* Liaise with in-house planners, surveyors and engineers to ensure project success.
* Lot calculations and cadastral drafting to produce survey plans for land development, building subdivisions and leases using CAD software.
* Working with our engineers to complete ADAC processing, reporting, and delivery.
* Uphold high standards of quality and accuracy in all drafting work.
* Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and regulations
* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our surveying processes and procedures
What We're Looking For
* Experience: Drafting survey plans in accordance with relevant Queensland legislation would be well regarded
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with AutoCAD and SurvaCAD required. Experience with 12D preferred but not essential.
* Independence & Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively.
* Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
* Licensing & Eligibility: Right to work in Australia.
