Security Job Overview
As a Security Officer, your role will involve guarding duties at various sites. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and record activities in real-time using electronic surveillance systems.
* Operate computer programs to manage access control, locking doors, and auditing door access.
* Communicate with security teams via verbal or computer-based systems to coordinate activities.
You may be required to work independently or as part of a team under limited supervision. This role requires discretion, high-level interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Qualifications:
* Current and applicable Security license (Cert II)
* First aid Certificate
* Australian/New Zealand Citizen or Permanent resident
* Driver's license
* CPR
* Working with children
* MSIC
* NV1 clearance
* NV2 clearance
* Control Room license
* RSA
* White card
