English Teacher and Assistant Year Coordinator
This is a permanent, full-time position that includes the role of Assistant Year Coordinator for a designated year group. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the wellbeing and holistic development of students.
The key responsibilities include delivering high-quality teaching to students from Years 7-10, with the opportunity to teach HSC English Advanced and/or Standard. Additionally, you will integrate ICT effectively into curriculum delivery, promote engagement and learning, differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, and collaborate with a professional team to create a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach English to students from Years 7-10, with opportunities to teach HSC English Advanced and/or Standard.
2. Integrate technology into curriculum delivery to enhance engagement and learning.
3. Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a collaborative and enriching learning environment.
Assistant Year Coordinator Responsibilities:
1. Support the Year Coordinator in overseeing the wellbeing, academic progress, and co-curricular involvement of students in the designated year group.
2. Contribute to the implementation of Positive Education, promoting mental and emotional wellbeing among students.
3. Work closely with Mentors to ensure the success and growth of each student.
