We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our busy finance team at our Melbourne Office on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for:
* Monitor accounts mailbox to handle supplier / customer inquiries
* Checking invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders / delivery dockets before processing
* Raising weekly and ad hoc Payments
* Fill in vendor / customer application forms and set them up in system
* Perform bank reconciliation on a daily/weekly basis for payments
* Monthly supplier statement reconciliation
* Communication with external suppliers and maintenance if supplier details accurately in system
* Other Ad-hoc Accounting Tasks if required.
We would like to hear from you if you have the following:
* Prior experience with Accounts Payable desirable, minimum 2 years in a similar role
* Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
* High level communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a productive team member
* Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale invoice processing on a weekly basis
