About the opportunity
Based in Perth and seconded to a prominent Oil and Gas client, the Maintenance Planner (Chevron - LNG) position serves as a key expert in Planning/Scheduling in our Subiaco Office on a 9-day fortnight. This role delivers front-end loading for an Onshore LNG oil and gas asset.

In this role, you will:
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate both preventative and corrective maintenance across all areas, including Utilities, Process, and Storage & Loading.
* Manage reactive planning for breakdowns and unplanned outages, analysing defects and prioritising work orders.
* Estimate job steps, resources, and materials required, including coordination with external vendors or specialized trades.
* Review and maintain accurate work instructions, maintenance plans, and quality documentation (ITR/ITP).
* Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Production teams to ensure safe, efficient execution of maintenance activities, including on-site planner coverage as needed.

About you
You're a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
* Relevant trade or engineering qualification in coatings or insulation.
* Proven experience in work order/work pack development, execution, and planning fabric maintenance scopes.
* Strong understanding of estimating processes, engineering standards, specifications, and drawings.
* Recognised inspection certifications such as NACE Coating or ICorr Insulation (preferred).
* Excellent communication, analytical skills, and attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
