To help drive this important work, we are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team.In this newly created role, you will work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and be the key liaison with an external Project Management Organisation (PMO) engaged to oversee the construction of six dialysis units over the next three years.
You will monitor the PMO's progress, addressing emerging risks, and ensure that internal activities align to achieve project outcomes on time and within scope.Several projects are already underway, so your ability to quickly get up to speed on current developments will be critical.
At the same time, you will help shape the vision and planning for future infrastructure initiatives, contributing to Purple House's long-term growth and its mission of delivering accessible dialysis care across remote Australia.About Purple HouseOur mission at Purple House (ie Western Desert Nganampa Walytja Palyantjaku Tjutaku (WDNWPT) Aboriginal Corporation) is to improve the lives of people with renal failure, reunite families and reduce the impact of kidney disease in our communities.

work environment.Key responsibilities and functions· Provide expert advice and recommendations to the Purple House New Build Steering Committee to support strategic, informed decision-making.· Prepare detailed reports for the New Build Steering Committee, Purple House Management and the Board of Directors, including updates on project progress, emerging risks, and key stakeholder engagement.· Act as the primary liaison between internal teams and the external Project Management Organisation (PMO), monitoring progress and performance against approved project plans.· Develop and manage internal project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations in consultation with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with PMO-led delivery plans.· Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with technical specifications, licencing and regulatory requirements, and national safety, quality and health standards.· Engage with community members and stakeholders to support consultation processes, ensuring that community needs, concerns, and cultural considerations are understood and respected throughout planning and delivery.· Oversee procurement processes including preparation of tenders, contract negotiations, and selection and management of vendors in accordance with procurement policies.· Conduct site inspections to assess construction quality and identify and monitor risks.· Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders and key partners, including funders, regulatory bodies, and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services, maintaining effective and consistent communication.· Provide leadership and support to internal teams involved in project delivery, promoting collaboration and accountability.· Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting for audit, compliance and funding obligations, including risk and milestone tracking.· Facilitate regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to support coordinator, problem solving, and to keep projects on track.· Ensure completed sites are transitioned from construction to operational readiness and integrated into Purple House's broader service delivery model.· Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate outcomes, document lessons learned and identify
