Job Description
Hotel Sorrento – Mornington Peninsula, VIC Hotel Sorrento is seeking a motivated and experienced Hotel Services Manager to oversee the coordination and supervision of hotel service staff and operational support functions within the hotel. This position is responsible for managing service operations including housekeeping coordination, guest assistance services and front-of-house support teams to ensure the efficient delivery of services and maintenance of high hospitality standards.
Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $77,000 per annum + Superannuation Key Responsibilities
The Hotel Services Manager will perform the following duties: Determining work requirements and allocating duties to Commercial Housekeepers, Luggage Porters and Doorpersons Supervising and coordinating the activities of hotel service staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Conferring with senior management and department heads to coordinate service activities across operational areas of the hotel Preparing, maintaining and monitoring staff rosters, attendance records and work schedules Explaining, implementing and enforcing workplace health and safety regulations, operational procedures and service standards
Monitoring staff performance and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and service expectations Overseeing the work of the hotel services unit and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and service delivery Assisting with the training, supervision and development of service staff
Ensuring hotel service operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and industry standards Qualifications and Experience Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Certificate IV in Hotel Services (or equivalent relevant qualification) At least one year of relevant experience in hotel or hospitality operations Demonstrated ability to supervise hospitality staff and coordinate operational service teams
Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures within a hospitality environment About Hotel Sorrento
